Hanging a hammock is easier than you think! With our guide, you’ll quickly create your own little relaxation oasis – whether indoors or outdoors.

Step 1: Determine the Hanging Distance
Take the total length of your hammock and subtract 10% – that’s the minimum hanging distance you’ll need. For example, a double hammock with a total length of 350 cm requires at least 300 cm between two trees, walls or posts. More space? No problem!

Step 2: Measure the Available Height
Found the right spot with enough distance? Take the distance (X), divide it by two – and you’ve got the ideal hanging height (Y)!

Step 3: Install the Right Accessories
To hang your hammock between two trees or posts, we recommend the TreeMount 2rope set. For walls or ceilings, go with the CasaMount 2rope. Make sure your mounting points can support the weight safely!
💡 Tip: You can also combine the sets flexibly – for example, tree-to-wall mounting! Just use TreeMount 1rope + CasaMount 1rope.

Step 4: Attach the Hammock
Thread the ropes of your mounting set through the loops of the hammock on both sides. With the integrated SmartHooks, you can easily adjust the height – or take the hammock down in no time. Make sure the hammock hangs loosely in a gentle banana shape – that’s the ideal position. The height from the ground should be around 40–50 cm so you can get in easily and swing freely.

Step 5: Lie Back and Enjoy
Now that your hammock is set up perfectly, there’s only one thing left to do: lie back, relax and enjoy the moment.
💡 Tip: For maximum comfort, try the South American lying technique. Lie diagonally across the hammock – this allows the fabric to spread fully and your body to lie ergonomically and flat. Perfect for pure relaxation.
