Materials in detail
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is an exceptionally durable and weatherproof material, ideal for outdoor use. It's resistant to moisture, dries quickly, and holds its shape even with frequent use.
Thanks to its low-maintenance nature, polypropylene is especially practical for the backyard, patio, and family life. Even with heavy use — like from kids — the material stays looking great.
The colors are fade-resistant and keep their vibrancy over time.
LA SIESTA polypropylene hammocks can be machine washed when needed.
Organic cotton
Our organic cotton hammocks are made from certified organic cotton, grown without chemical pesticides. That's good for the environment — and it means the fabric is gentle and natural against your skin.
The fabric feels soft to the touch and has a warm, inviting look — perfect for indoors or sheltered spots. As a decorative piece, organic cotton fits naturally into any living space.
Organic cotton can be used outdoors. To keep the colors looking vibrant long-term, we recommend not leaving the hammock exposed to prolonged direct sunlight or rain, and storing it dry when not in use.
If the hammock gets damp or wet, hang it in a dry, well-ventilated room and allow it to dry completely.
Organic cotton hammocks are also machine washable.
