No. The set is complete – assemble the stand, hook in the hammock, done. No wall, no tree needed.
Is the hammock suitable for outdoor use?
The organic cotton hammock is best suited to sheltered areas and indoor use. For permanent outdoor use we recommend the Maera Outdoor set.
How long does assembly take?
Around 15–30 minutes. The necessary tools are included, along with illustrated instructions.
Can I wash the hammock?
You can wash your hammock easily at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Tie the suspension cords together beforehand so they do not tangle. After washing, air-dry the hammock rather than putting it in the tumble dryer.
How much weight does the set hold?
The Double Size set holds up to 160 kg. Please observe the stated maximum.
Can I use the Maera stand with other hammocks too?
The hammock is already included in this set – but the Maera stand itself fits all Double Size hammocks, with or without a spreader bar.
How does a hammock without a spreader bar differ from one with a spreader bar?
Without a spreader bar, the hammock moulds around the body – a deeper, enveloping lying sensation. With a spreader bar, the hammock always stays invitingly open.
Is the set available with a different type of stand?
